What are the forms of stage lighting?
The effective handling of stage lighting characterises the success of theatre lighting design. Stage lighting should not only show the actors' faces and allow the audience to see their movements and facial emotions, but it should also fully use lighting technology, lighting operation, and other tools to enhance the artistic effect and give the audience a sense of immersion.
Stage lighting is typically classified into two types, depending on the installation position, purpose, and luminaire configuration: dimming circuits, and non-dimmable direct release loops.
The three main types of theatrical stage lighting are as follows:
- General lighting includes shelf lighting, the top light, and the expanded stage as a part of the top light hanging light ring.
- Key lighting consists of the following: spotlights, earlights, columns, sidelights, stage footlights, backstage lighting, flowing light and low Angle sidelight of extended stage, inside (outside) sidelight, revolving tableflowing light, and low voltage socket for attaching music lamp organised in orchestra pit.
- Decorative lighting: This category includes all types of computer lights, day row lights, ground row lights, laser effects, trace lights, and music fountains that flow.
ITC Stage Lighting Materials Analysis
- * Use shielded core, pure copper, 26AWG, with great conductivity, steady signal, and interference-free construction;
- * Use pure copper wire of the national standard of 2.5 mm2 with O-type, U-type, and insert terminals, as well as minimal impedance, good conductivity, good heat dissipation, low voltage drop, no colour cast, and heat shrinkable tube protection;
- * Copper foil, which has good electrical and thermal conductivity and has a thermal conductivity of 2.0, is used as the aluminium substrate;
- * The copper foil used on the double-sided boards is FR4/94V0 and has a thickness of 2os. Chip electrolytic capacitors are utilised, which have excellent anti-interference properties and are unaffected by the driving wiring. The STM32 processor, which has a quicker processing speed, is used to implement the signal layer;
- * To ensure that the light source temperature is lower than 90 °C (junction) and the life of the light source is 100000H, the fin copper tube radiator is five times as large as the standard aluminium radiator;
- *SMD power inductors feature no pins, which helps lower parasitic inductance and enhance product performance. Additionally, SMD power inductors have stronger magnetic shielding, which promotes an increase in permeability.
- * The moving head light focusing gearbox track uses a slider track, which produces clearer, higher-quality light. The gearbox pulley replaces the conventional plastic wheel with an aluminium alloy gear that will not deteriorate or fade.
